1.1 Overview

This operator's manual details information regarding the installation, operation, calibration, and maintenance of the 6000 Weigh Display Controller.

1.2 Introduction
The 6000 Weighing Display Controller includes field mounted and panel mounted models. It uses microprocessor control to process the weight signal from the load cell, calculate the weight of the material and display it on the meter. At the same time, the instrument has built-in input and output ports to control the operation of related equipment.
The instrument adopts two operation interfaces in Chinese/English, which is intuitive and easy to operate. And has a variety of automatic detection functions, easy for users to calibrate and maintain.

1.3 Performance parameters

(e) Load Cells
-The instrument is supplied with 10VDC ± 10%, 500mA excitation power supply, and can be connected in parallel with 8 load cells.
-Sensitivity 0.5mV/V - 3.5mV/V.
-Maximum input signal 33mV.
-Protective earthing of the load cells.
-Excitation compensation circuit for cable distances greater than 60 meters (not exceeding 900 meters).
-Jumper to select local or remote compensation
(f) Main Board Digital Input Ports
-The instrument main board provides 8 programmable input ports to receive dry contact switch signals.
(g) Main Board Digital Output Ports
-The main board of the instrument provides 8 programmable output ports. The 8th output is a solid state relay output, user selectable, which can be specified as either AC output (24~280V AC, 3amps) or DC output (5~60V DC, 3amps). The rest are transistorized OC outputs (24V DC,0.5amps).

1.4 Functions
The 6000 Weighing Indicator Controller is designed to be used in conjunction with static weighing and can be used for all measurement and control functions.
The software portion of all functions is solidified into the memory chip and the accumulator will automatically turn on the appropriate function when the user installs an optional expansion board or when the operator selects it via the keypad.
The 6000 Weighing and Display Controller has a powerful and user-friendly interface, which allows the operator to select the functions, set the parameters, operate and maintain them through the keyboard.

The functions of the 6000 Weighing Display Controller are divided into the following areas:

1.4.1 Measurement functions
1. Weight Calculation
The 6000 weight indicator controller can be directly connected to up to eight 350ohm load cells and converts the weight signals into high precision digital quantities and calculates the weight of the material.

2,The device can be automatically zero and interval calibrated.

3,Automatic Zero Tracking (AZT)

When the system is running, as long as the weight continues to fall below the predetermined value of the AZT, the zero calibration is repeated continuously.

"Zero tracking" function has a maximum limit 'tracking range', which is in the 'system data' menu item with a percentage (%) to set.

4. Current Output Signal

Optional current input/output expansion board to obtain the current output signal, the signal represents the current material weight to rated weight ratio.

1.4.2 Monitoring functions
The 6000 Weigh Display Controller has the following monitoring functions:
--Status alerts
--Level alarm
--Setting errors
-Equipment failure

Alarm information can be seen on the display, and alarms can be acknowledged and cleared through the keypad, digital input signals or serial communication lines. To avoid false alarms due to transient external interference, alarms can be set with a time delay. Each alarm can be set to alarm, equipment emergency stop or ignore the alarm.

1.4.3 Printing functions

Serial printers are connected via an optional communication board.
1.4.4 Communication functions
The communication protocol allows the remote smart device to read and eventually modify the contents of the registers.
During the communication process, the 6000 Weighing and Display Controller always acts as a slave, i.e. it only responds to the commands of the online master device, but never sends outgoing information actively.
