III. Installation Instructions
  1. Selection of installation location: It should be selected in a place where materials are easy to accumulate and can accurately reflect the position of materials, usually installed on the side wall of the silo or hopper, at the distance from the predetermined accumulation height of materials.
  1. Installation method: Flange installation or threaded installation can be selected according to the actual situation.
  • Flange installation: Connect the controller to the reserved interface of the silo or hopper through the supporting flange, ensure the flange is well sealed to prevent material leakage.
  • Threaded installation: Screw the threaded interface of the controller with the corresponding threaded interface on the silo or hopper, and pay attention to firm installation.
  1. During the installation process, ensure that the controller is fixed firmly to avoid position deviation due to vibration and other reasons. The tilt switch should be hung vertically and avoid contact with other objects to prevent affecting the detection accuracy.
IV. Usage Instructions
  1. Power on: Connect the power supply, the power indicator of the controller lights up, and it enters the working state.
  1. Power off: Disconnect the power supply, the controller stops working, and the power indicator goes off.
  1. Parameter setting: The default parameters of this controller have been set according to conventional working conditions, and generally no adjustment is needed. If special settings are required, the sensitivity can be fine-tuned through the adjustment knob on the controller (for specific adjustment methods, refer to the marks on the controller).
  1. Alarm and control: When the material reaches the set height, the tilt switch acts, the output relay of the controller acts, the corresponding alarm indicator lights up, and at the same time, it can drive external alarm devices (such as alarm bells, warning lights) or control devices (such as conveyors, valves, etc.) to act.
V. Maintenance
  1. Daily maintenance: Regularly check whether the controller is installed firmly and whether there is any looseness; check whether the tilt switch is clean and whether there is material adhesion, and if so, clean it in time to ensure detection sensitivity.
  1. Regular inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the controller every 3 months, including whether the power connection is good, whether the relay contacts are oxidized, etc. If the relay contacts are found to be oxidized, they can be gently polished with fine sandpaper.
  1. Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the surface of the controller clean to avoid accumulation of dust, oil and dirt. When cleaning, disconnect the power supply and wipe with a dry cloth.
VI. Troubleshooting
  1. Power indicator light is not on: Check whether the power connection is normal and whether the power voltage meets the requirements. If the power connection is normal and the voltage is normal, it may be a fault in the internal power supply of the controller, and professional personnel should be contacted for maintenance.
  1. No output signal: Check whether the tilt switch acts normally. You can manually tilt the switch and observe whether the controller has corresponding output. If the tilt switch acts normally but the controller has no output, it may be a fault in the internal relay of the controller or a problem with the line connection. It is necessary to check the line or replace the relay.
  1. False alarm: It may be that the sensitivity of the tilt switch is adjusted too high, or there is a foreign object colliding with the tilt switch. The sensitivity can be appropriately reduced or the foreign object can be removed.
VII. Precautions
  1. The power supply must be disconnected during installation and maintenance to ensure personal safety.
  1. The controller should avoid being installed in an environment with severe vibration, high temperature, high humidity and strong corrosion. If it must be used in a harsh environment, corresponding protective measures should be taken.
